  1. I managed to read the post on my phone earlier. but now ithe site is giving me annoying popups before I even read anything.

    So, I’m going from memory here. 🙂

    The “chosen one” thing has always bugged me — particularly outside a trad fantasy story. But that’s just me. I have mystery cliches that I use happily — but that’s not my cliche or my genre.

    I think the “aliens are more powerful than us” thing is too linear. I like it when aliens are different, not just “more” or “less.” That seems more interesting (and maybe more likely… 🙂 ).
